Adding Content Controls to a Microsoft Word Template
Section titled “Adding Content Controls to a Microsoft Word Template”- Enable Developer in Microsoft Word
- In Word, activate the Developer Tab: (File > Options > Customize Ribbon)
- Select Developer and Ok
- Insert Content Controls in Word Document
- In Developer Tab, click “Design Mode”
- Use the Controls group in the developer tab to insert different
controls
- For example Plain text for text based controls
Populating the Microsoft Word Template with Power Automate
Section titled “Populating the Microsoft Word Template with Power Automate”- Use Power Automate flow to populate Word template content controls
- To put data in the controls, use the “Populate a Microsoft Word
template” action
- Select the document from its storage
- Use dynamic content to populate the content controls
